Regular price is $169, dont feel like $699 as regular price, BB cheat us on their pricing strategy

as far as ceiling speakers go, they are a little light on bass compared to the likes of the JBL B-6IC which went for $30 each(currently $60 each) But for atmos, they have been great. Hearing a zombie's footsteps land on the floor above you is something else.

Also, they sell a back box specifically made for this speaker so if you have blown in insulation or are looking for a better bass response, buy those as well.

These should be $149 all the time. Sonance speakers are overpriced.

I have front speakers (front center/left/right) and rear speakers (rear left/right) prewired along with the subwoofer prewired. Are these speakers good for front and rear speakers in my setup? Thanks…

Yes, they don't use anything proprietary per say. Just good ol' speaker connectors and cable - will work with any amp (make sure to check impedance, though, if you have a special amp).

$129 is a price that you can typically walk into the store and pay with a bit of negotiation effort. $149 is decent value for an aimable speaker for Atmos/surround use. I have 3 pair waiting for a decision on heights vs Atmos for my family room HT build.

The description says the tweeters are "pivoting". I don't know if that means they can be aimed, but high frequency is very directional, and should be pointed at the listening position.

This is basically normal price. Almost bought it a month ago and have been keeping an eye on the pricing. It was $120/$130 about a week ago and 3rd time it hit $150 in last month or so.

Would they work in that application, technically yes.
Would it be ideal, no not really.

These are great if you want "hidden" speakers but if you're after a good surround system these aren't really going to cut it imo.

These might be decent as Atmos in ceiling speakers but that's about it.

Will they work? Yes. Are they the best choice? I would say not as front mains. I have a pair of these as my rear surrounds and they work great. If you plan on using them as front and rears, you will definitely need a subwoofer.

Just like any other major retailers such as Amazon, Macys, Kohl's etc. they all play this trick on us. If we are not slickdealers then there is a very high chance to get fooled by these tricks.
