I bought this a few days ago for 250. So far so good. In my opinion, this is a good tablet for someone who is looking for a lower end tablet and needs the s pen. If you don't need the s pen, I would recommend the a9+. There's comparison videos on youtube
This is their budget line that supports a pen. For some reason they don't change the number for it. It is a little smaller than the S & A series, only has 4 GB of RAM, a regular LED screen, no finger print reader, and has a entry level processor.
Can u elaborate? This was the first tab i ever owned in 2020 and put it thru the ringer and have nothing but good things to say about it. Excellent budget tab compared to other pen tablets in this price range
I have this. The battery drains pretty quickly when not in use. Airplane mode, no wifi no bluetooth.
I didn't touch the tablet for a week or so, and came back to 60% battery. That's crazy, I would've thought it'd be at 90 or something.
Maybe there's something I'm doing wrong.
That's normal for any tablet as the WIFI and Bluetooth are always on to make connections, receive notifications, and download updates. It's remaining on except for the screen. It's basically a cell phone without cellular. If you don't want the battery to drain turn it off by holding down the power button.
Check Samsung.com if you have an older Samsung to trade in. Or the deal here for basically a free Pixel tablet if you have a dusty old iPad to trade in.
I traded in a 2 year old Tab S8 I got for $199 (w/slim keyboard cover at that!), for a Tab S9 yesterday -- $199 including free Buds2 Pro earbuds. AMOLED, 120Hz, expandable storage. $199.
I can't fathom spending $230 on a "lite" version of anything.

Samsung products have some strange idle drain. There are a lot of services and bloat, compared to vanilla Android. You could try disabling WiFi scanning under location, and follow the Samsung debloat guide.
