Also it does look like it set to retire at the end of the year.

Been $80 many times before. Wish there was a clone set as that's what I normally buy, especially when it's not a minifigs heavy set.

It's a great set I bought three of them to make the various mocs out there. It has been cheaper.

my opinion as an old millennial who cried when i lost a lego knight as a child - great for kids cuz i wish i coulda had a semi affordable castle (big fortress guy - single peasant mom)

i'd rather put my $80 towards the bigggggg time knight castle. least that will look cool as i lay home, alone…

That castle is an absolute work of art lol. Don't look into it too much, the surprises in the build make it so much fun. You'll go from "why is that here?" to "omg that's awesome!".

Sometimes 'Temu' has unofficial/exact replicas of some Legos sets such as this one for a significant price reduction. From my experience, the box is not authentic but the bricks are exactly alike w/o the "Lego" emblem. They still come with an instruction manuel. My builds have had no issues with the prices and remain strong.

This set is one of the most MOC-able castle. I have 3 of them and there are so many MOCs you can do. Although I this is not super slick, I got one from the last Amazon deal $80.
