If your budget is higher than this range then by all means you can absolutely do better but for a cheap 5.1 or more, set-up it's hard to beat the cost to performance in my anecdotal use anyway. The weakest area for Jamo would be their subs and I would opt for almost anything else in this area.
Also, would anyone recommend keeping Jamo L/R floorstanding speakers and using a Klipsch center channel (obviously has a higher sensitivity) or would that still cause timbre issues?
EDIT: Whoever downvoted me, I was actually asking a question about soundtrack mastering. I did not intent to sound snarky.

It was a niche brand but ever since it was bought by Klipsch. Performance has gone down
After DIRAC Live setup, it's a decent speaker unless you tend to listen to everything pretty loud (which I do).
For this price, if someone does the work to run the EQ (which idk why someone would buy a receiver + speakers and not run EQ), it's a great value/deal. This obviously isn't for ppl looking to spend a few hundred to several hundred dollars per speaker.

If I had your setup I would get the center and then compare it to another brand. Experiment. You'll hear the difference with LRC with the same product line. You'll want to calibrate your AVR after you pick your setup. Also you might need to play around with equalization if the dialogue isn't clear from the center and sometimes no matter what you do it won't get much better. So I don't know what this center sounds like but those are my opinions and the opinion of almost everyone is to match the front 3. Hope this was helpful.
