DDR5 isn't much more expensive, but that's what's supposed to happen with the next-gen stuff eventually.
DDR4 prices have crept up a few bucks in the last several months, but they're not up much from those all-time lows.

If you want cheap DDR4 there are plenty of options around just not this.

I actually bought this Corsair ram before returning it because it's so tall I couldn't fit my top mounted AIO.
Unless I'm missing something, seems like a better deal for basically the same thing.
