YMMV this deal is hackable in store (I tested it earlier today). Others have had success with hack also.

Hack is buying the bare tool, receiving the "free" batteries, returning the unwanted item for about half off. Similar to the well known Home Depot hack. Lowe's has had there hackable deals disabled for over a year and this is first deal where it seems to work again.

They need to include the 7 1/4" circular saw instead of the 6 1/2".

on your receipt, was the total price split between the battery kit and tool (example: $100 for tool and $100 for battery) ? or did the battery ring up as $0 while the entire cost was on the tool?

this matters because if it's the latter, then the cashier did an override and split the cost themselves then refunded. they are NOT supposed to do that, most cashiers will not do it and in some cases won't even know how to do it

however, if it's the former, then everyone should be able to replicate.

TBH most of these are decent even if you can't hack, but this is the MVP post if true for everyone.

Yesterday, GoodOmen was able to replicate the new Lowe's hack as well. See comments here...
https://dealquestnow.online/share/android_app/t/17261686

I think GoodOmen purchased online, returned in store for a net $0 cost. I purchased in store and received normal hack (about half off each item).
I don't recommend going the $0 net cost route because this will eventually result in Lowe's disabling the hacks again.

Yes, I purchased the router in store for $219. My receipt shows each item was about $110 (the math wasn't exactly 50% off each) so it should be able to be replicated.

Also, good news, I was able to stack my 10% discount on top of this BOGO deal. Previously disabled at Lowe's (for about a year or so).

Of note, the current HD hacks are a little cheaper if you're interested in the bare tools, good through 2 Feb.

How much is the break down of batteries/tool with the oscillating multitool? Any way to figure it out ahead of time?

Did you applyt this 10% discount through a promocode or military discount? Was it in store or online? That would be a game changer for me as I always go to depot becasue of all the things I can stack!

Title is hard to follow, why not just say "2 Free batteries with select Dewalt 20v Tools"

This seems like a downgrade from the recent 2x 5Ah (non-PowerStack) battery deals, right? Is PowerStack so much better that 1.7Ah PowerStack is equal to or greater than 5.0Ah non-PowerStack?
