I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.

How were you able to unlock all of them if you only used one mobile line?

How long of a delay?
I don't remember exactly, but definitely like this where it took over two weeks for it to deliver.

It was for the Moto Razr+ trade in that I did.

Seems like it's in USPS hands. Something off at Coppell TX.
Mine is actually stuck at the city where Assurant is located after passing Dallas.

Ah damn, I just realized I forgot to turn off the phones before sending it in.

If the battery is dead when the phone arrives, they're not going to assume that the phone isn't working right?

In-store I took bogo line. If i want to go for 2 more lines, can I get another BOGO( $29.99 per 2 lines per month)? Or it will be $29.99 for each line after 2 nd line? Anyone tried?

AFAIK BOGO is an one time promotion per account. You can go for $20 per gb plan

Yeah, I know USPS is showing it in their system but Assurant appears to have some sort of deal with them and is the reason for their congestion. People here even report Assurant system processing their devices without USPS or the Assurant system showing as delivered. I suspect Assurant just get so many packages that it causes congestion getting it to their facility from USPS. Why I call it illegitimate is that their system should not penalize the customer for their logistical issues if the customer shipped the package on time and it is just sitting there at the destination waiting for them to process it, especially when Spectrum is only giving a 14 day return window from order date.

I'm in the same status. Shipped 1/19 and 1/20 for two devices. Not in a rush to get the credit, but irritating nonetheless seeing as how there are many here that already got the refund.

If it makes you guys feel any better, similar thing happened to me last year for Spectrum deals and they suddenly changed the entire status to accepted and refunding the trade in credit all in one day after a long delay.
I too do not mind waiting a couple of weeks for the credit, I just do not like that Spectrum return window is only 14 days. What if there is an issue with the trade in and receiving the $700 credit? I have done a previous trade in that went through a different Assurant facility and it was delivered and processed quickly.

I finally received my pre-ordered S24+ today. I preordered on Jan 24th. They also just received my trade in phone as well and the tracking page shows that they should evaluated by Feb 5th. Hopefully it evaluated successfully since it's a new phone I bought to trade in.

I also did an in store trade in today using a use phone I had with cracked screen for an S24. The process was very fast and easy. Now thinking back, I should have just do the S24+ in store too to save sale tax and hassle of mail in trade in.

are you doing this online or instore in TX?

online, you pay full amount on device (reg price plus full tax)...when you get the credit for the phone trade in, it should come w/ the trade in amount plus tax (someone in this thread already confirmed they got the tax back on trade in for TX)

for instore, you should only pay taxes on the diff and it should be immediate (assuming you pay for the device in full)
I wonder what tax rule would make it different for different states. I called into Spectrum recently and asked if tax would be refunded and they seemed unsure but said no since tax was paid up front. But I just looked back on my previous trade in that had a large promotion and they did actually end up refunding the tax. I wonder what states do not refund the tax.

And I paid full for the device. I wonder if it is different for monthly credits since technically in that case you are not getting a discount on the device but a discount on your monthly bill. Maybe that is why there are differences.

If you preordered then the benefit there is the extra storage. You might still get your tax refunded with the trade in credit if you paid in full. My issue is the delay with deliver to Assurant. Did yours go to the TX facility, when did you ship?

I went with the 14.99 per gig plan, I was going to get them to change it to the two lines for 29.99, but then the CSA said I could not use it on the preorder (which was a new acct) smh. I paid in full so I will just unlock it in 60 days and use it on my current Tmobile plan.
