You must have missed the "standard dewalt blades" comment, which I was responding to, not "specific jobs".

Can anyone figure out what the breakdown of blades is? Looks like only 3 wood bits and the rest metal from the pic. I didn't see the breakdown on HD site.

How much better are these than the standard DeWalt ones I've been burning through?

Nope you need a different set to include the carbide blades.

Personally, I feel like these are all one in the same. When i'm using my recip saw, i'm tearing through stuff with little concern for the blade and both have done what I expected.

I'll say, they're not spectacular blades but a 19 piece set for $16 is almost a no brainer just to have around.

Decent blades for a decent price for general work. If you're cutting thick, steel and a lot of metal, get a torch blade.

Decent price but no rush to buy as I see Home Depot has this recurring deal price.

I think there was one a couple weeks ago that had a carbide or two in it.

like others have said, these are your basic blades. Better than no-name for sure.

However, based on the picture it looks like only 3 out of 19 are wood blades? Unless you are going to be doing a lot of metal cutting, the balance between wood/metal is all wrong. I'd say there needs to be 12 wood at least.

You clearly have not had to do tough jobs where a specific blade is required then. A wood blade on tough metal isn't going anywhere.

The customer reviews on the HD site give a good breakdown of what's included.

🤔
better deal...
much better blades and more wood blades. you don't want a box full of cheap metal blades.

https://www.amazon.com/Freud-DS00...96&sr=8-14

If your cutting alot of metal, mayybe go on Ebay click lowest price, and buy lenox blades, seeing fresh blades with a spot of rust on them dirt cheap!, they last 4 times as long cut twice as fast in some situations! they are the best by far

also watch this if considering carbide... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2TwmqRD8fc
