WTF did I just buy, and - assuming I'm not an avid multi-sport athlete - why would I want this more than an Apple Watch? Also, can it record swim laps? Seems like some can.

Such a great price, but the white is not for me. And these 42mm versions are quite small in person. The 51mm is on sale for $499 which also includes sapphire.

How do they measure? My Seiko Orange Monster is 45mm overall / 42mm across the bezel and it's a substantial watch.
