So it would appear there is no reason to order something from Polymaker is more then $18. Just always open an account for $18 with HF and get $24 to spend with Polymaker.

Read the description. Turns out "lifetime" means "2 years of updates/bug fixes".

I understand that in terms of software, lifetime is almost never going to mean lifetime, but I feel like calling 2 years "lifetime" is a little bold.

This is pretty common practice. You get 2 years of updates, and then a lifetime license to THAT VERSION of HueForge (whatever your last update after 2 years is). The software doesn't stop working in 2 years, you just stop getting updates for it. Then, if you want the latest and greatest features, you gotta pay for the developer's time.

It's a little annoying, I can see that, but it's WAY better than paying for an Adobe product. They try to trick you into paying higher monthly prices, then if you cancel your subscription your software is gone.
