You could not be more wrong that's the entire difference between wire cutters and flush cutters.

Have about five of these and great for battery builders as well if you're cutting away old nickel strips. Seems to stay sharp as long as you're not trying to cut really thick wires.

I bought these back in 2018 and use them almost daily as a commercial electrician, they're great and are still sharp as ever. Definitely getting another at this price.

Na, if you use normal wire cutters or scissors on zip ties it always leaves a sharp edge sticking out.

Be careful of the metal type, hard metals can destroy cutters if they aren't meant for it.
