Thanks for the link - the Gateway CPU is 11th-gen Intel while this HP is the latest gen AMD and 20% faster in passmark. The 3050 video passmark is 30% more than the 2050.

The build of HP seems better than the Gateway.

So overall the HP suits more the normal users while the Gateway has an edge for gamers?

Just depend on if what you do is more CPU or GPU related. If you are a gamer, def go for gateway. the 2050 is only rtx by names. It has much limited gfx feature set support compared to 3050.

Gateway is lighter weight by at least 1lb also.

qualitywise, the gateway is actually not bad at all. It's made by tongfang

The only SD's posted from BB tech anymore are "Open Box", maybe available within 200 miles, but probably not.

Obligatory post about how that laptop was 300 due to a pricing mistake lol. The 2050 has the same architecture of the 3050 and isn't noticeably worse either (check out some youtube vids on it). I would say gateway has questionable support in the future and the build quality is worse too
