Took a quick look and didn't see high quality reviews for either one, but both are probably going to be good for gaming but poor HDR.

Main difference is likely just the size and IPS vs VA though, which is personal preference.

I personally think 32" makes better use of 4k and prefer VA for the higher contrast so I'd expect the Acer to be better at least for my taste.

If DPI is everything to you or you don't mind poor contrast the Gigabyte could be a better choice though.

I generally prefer high contrast. I think 4K is best impactful at 32" as well.

The Acer is probably the right choice for me. Thanks

This is a good deal. YouTube has solid reviews on the Gigabyte m28u and the m32u. Also rtings has an excellent review on this monitor. The 32u is expensive at 680 but the 28 is now 430 after MIR at both Newegg and amazon. I do some photo editing and it looks like IPS display is better for than than a curved VA display. But I don't know about a flat VA display vs flat IPS display. Thoughts on if this or the Acer Nitro XV322QK would be better for photo editing? Seems like they would be equally good at gaming.
