I bought a box of these 4 months ago and I've been using one at work since then. I use it daily and haven't moved onto the second pen yet. They write nicely but do need a bit of time to dry.

I love these pens. I'm a teacher, and not only are these good for writing with, but I've found they actually work flawlessly on my classroom interactive board as well (provided I have the actual pen retracted). I mean, technically, I should use the manufacturer provided stylus on the board, but the teacher who had my room before me lost it and the school refuses to order me a replacement, and the manufacturer refuses to sell replacement styluses to anybody but the school directly (ahh, the problems teachers have to deal with and the creative solutions we have to come up with).

I doodle and take notes pen and notebook style still for work and these are my favorite to use. I prefer them to the G2

Love these alot. Great price for them too. I often use these and the BIC Atlantis pens. If I am writing notes or something short I use the S-Gel. If its something much longer then I use the Atlantis. The atlantis although with an older style ball point design just seems to have no friction for me and the gel for me at least on the angle I write at seems to have just a bit of friction where I notice it. The boldness of the gel though is amazing.

We switched to these at work. They're great. 0.7 is a good middle ground. I found 1.0 too thick. .5 is also good, but the 0.7 writes smoother. Highly recommend.

These are terrible, As a waiter I shop around for a lot pens and these pens, the tips always unscrew themselves from the barrel and they fall apart in my pockets.

I really do like how smooth gel pens are, but at work I often have wet hands from handling water cooled products, and my current pens bleed really bad. Once I'm out of Energel for my pentel pens, I'll have to search for some waterproof pens...

Great deal but in the 0.7mm pen wars it's G2>Uniball Signo>Sharpie S Gel

Been really happy with the BIC Roller Glide for years. Giving these a try, hope they last.

Just curious, where do you put Pentel Energel?
