It should be illegal to market 4K30 as 4K.
If you want/need higher refresh rate, this ugreen does 4k@60hz. I'm using it on an ultrawide monitor and it does 3440x1440@100hz (monitor does 144hz but either the laptop or the adapter doesn't go that high).

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B093BJ4S9P - it does have less/worse usb ports than the Anker, so there's that

It sounds like you need a USB-C extension cable (e.g., https://www.amazon.com/Faracent-E...B071DMMW4J), but you should verify that the specs for the cable you select will meet your particular needs.

Those extension cables are directional. I am not sure if it would work for the hub. I'd rather avoid the headache and get a hub that comes with a longer cable.

How can we check if it will work with certain laptops and monitors? It only lists 6 devices and our is not on the list (Lenovo flex).

How is this compared? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...VXLJ&psc=1
It's $32 new and $23 used, like new. Anyone experiences with Anker's used item? Thanks.

Typically warehouse stuff has no factory warranty. And the stuff is often not as described. You might get lucky or get something that was wiped off with a dirty rag. However, this is being sold by Anker. So, confirm the warranty before buying.

How do you confirm the warranty? By contacting the seller directly?
