Maybe you could use something like this - to convert the socket into two usable sockets...

Interesting idea but most or all light sockets, I need an actual light. Maybe if they can somehow combine both? I imagine it being difficult.
Yeah, but then how do you turn off the lightbulb? lol.

Any solution? I have outside lights, but when I turn on the lights, all 5 bulbs + this camera will be on. This will be a waste of energy. How can I only turn on the camera?

As long as the light source are away from the camera should suffice. Why not try or return 😂

does anyone know if this requires a subscription to view recorded video? I ordered the Chinese version from Temu and it wouldn't let you view recorded video without a subscription so I returned it.

You could use that but the light might interfere. And imo it would look ugly lol.

Laview has issue with there App... If you were out of the house(no wifi) and you logged in, you would have to wait at least 30 seconds sometimes. Recently they added advertisement for few seconds before you can view your live feed. Good luck in buying this....I gave mine away.

Use smart lightbulb to 4 of them and keep the light switch on for security camera.

The built in light is super dim, so, i bought an adapter like the one you linked. I also bought a wireless socket like this https://a.co/d/28ngj7w so I can keep the switch for the camera on at all times. Overall works better than expected. Very little lag when viewing live and has all the features I needed.

This will increase the cost. I would rather go Ring camera at the same cost. Thank you.
