Samsung has a program that allows you to verify authenticity of the card. The way amazon handles inventory, fake cards are plenty.

Avcording to specs, samsung can endure much more read/write cycles vs sandisk by severalfold.

Wasn't trying to threadcrap. Just wish I could throw in "any" memory card into my Viofo, but the colder weather is causing problems. Figure if I follow their recommendations then I can still blame Viofo when their camera acts crazy on me again.

Be sure to verify who the seller is - whether you buy this micro SD card or another one from the compatible list in the link above... I was looking at the SanDisk Endurance 512gb(?) one, and the first offer was from a 3rd party seller. Amazon was maybe 3-5 down from the top... But even with Amazon as the seller, you should want to test your SD cards to be sure they aren't fake

Yep, "High Endurance" is a bit of a misrepresentation. Samsung is more durable - and the new model 2022+ is also fast. The older Samsung - ("endurance" written in red) seemed quite slow.

I'm been using one of those on the not recommended list since Dec 2022 on my Viofo duo. It's a 128 GB Sandisk Ultra. I don't have any problem although the lowest temp it's been in is no lower than 20 F.
