I had two of these that I used for 3 summers. Never had an issue with insects, but I would still take 2 seconds to flip it inside out and shake it out before using it. It does take forever to dry if it's left out in the rain, though. Especially if it's in a shady spot.

Looks like you will need a hanging rope or chain ,not included

Most of the sub $30 chairs have lower weight capacity, 192-220 lbs. This one at over 300 is a bit more rare.

Any suggestions for a good hanging rope/hardware for hanging from a tree? I got another brand hammock which came with hanging rope but it's shorter for the tree branch height where i want to use it. Any suggestions?

I had a hammock chair like this before.. I had one on my balcony.. never had issues with bugs in it.. got rid of it, because my gutters rusted thru and got it wet and moldy..
The gutters have now been replaced, so now more leaks..
