This is not a bad price. But FWIW, you can get the Equate 500 count of cotton swabs for this price at Walmart every day.

That's why NOT worth it to buy some crappy stuff and have to suffer through them.

it's $2, judge for yourself, but after finally running out of qtips and no sd popping up I got some a few months ago and can't tell a difference

I am using this right now. The quality is not very good. The cotton is very loosely attached.

I'll gladly pay more for Q-tip brand which are the only cotton swabs which are 100% cotton, 100% biodegradable, 100% compostable

These are not plastic tubes they are paper according to the Q and A section on Amazon.
