Had 64GB version of this for less than a month, and my dashcam already alarmed me once for reading error.
I am returning the 64GB one to Amazon and my Samsung order is on the way. Never had issue with my Samsung card for the past 4 years.
I am not going to take the chance that "the time I needed it, it does not work"....

Just bought this one on Sunday. Is this a better version for $15.99? Also, above Amazon link is from 3rd party seller, not amazon directly for anyone that's looking at it.

The kingston is much faster. depends on your use case. a dashcam would be better off with the slower endurance sd.

Funny seeing this come up. I literally just threw away a Sandisk High Endurance card this morning because when I tried to pull some footage it started smoking and burned itself out. Card reader is fine (I tested it right after this on a different card). This card could have burned my house down AND I lost the dash cam footage... so... no, do not recommend. Turns out this is a known issue with Sandisk cards.

Which is faster? The Samsung Evo Plus or this Sandisk?

edit
The Samsung Evo Plus is one dollar cheaper in Amazom, but I can't find the write speed.

the read is 130 compared to SanDisk 100

sandisk Write is 40

high endurance cards are for constant rewriting for dash cam type applications. if read/write speeds are on your list then you're looking at the wrong product

Oh, okay... Thanks. I just needed an SD card for my phone. Just thought the one with the better write speed of the two would be best for recording video. I got the Evo.

It's the old model of their card that's been rated for crap, compared to Samsung's old endurance cards... Sandisk's current models are called Max Endurance and are worth the extra money IMO... Up to a 15yr warranty, but if you're trying to save money, then skip these and buy Samsung instead. IDK people keep posting these SD HE cards on here... Maybe for $10 or something they're okay, but not at this price.

If they're crap then $10 is too much. I believe the Max is better, although unsure if it will make a practical difference for most use cases. Skeptical these are crap. We'll see.

I had the same problem with my Samsung endurance card. I bought a new dash cam and figured I would buy one of these types of cards for it, but it just can't handle the higher bit rate recording. My dash cam kept knocking my settings down to lower quality. I started getting the writing error as well. You're better off just going with the fastest card you can find.
