So, next time when they have a $75 off $1,000 coupon, all you need to do is finding another $925 goods that you need. This way $76.99-$75 makes the guitar $1.99.
What a mathematician.

How about posting $100+ instead of 100+...

If this works out $52 then this is a very slick deal; do not wait. But if it's $84 now? Then hold out...

Hold on: 40SALE only works on the blue $66 Tele type MP guitar and,was $59 lowest, not this ST type.

Also the $60 acoustic is a deal with 40SALE code.

Unless you are the type to never maintain or (low cost only) mod your guitar and want to pay for repeated setup, as needed(Due to weather, humidity etc). Search T.R.A.I.N. guitar setup.

Or if you are a collector guitar trader; trying to inflate prices.

This is a great bargain for a great design; not a $5000 show pony. However; if you think about it they basically do the exact same thing. Don't listen to the jealous nay sayers!

And yes you will probably want to spring $10 for a new nut; unless you want to make your own. Get a TUSQ nut to match your fret board radius and type. Be very gentle removing overly glued in nuts. All you have to do is level/adjust the height, from the thicker to smaller string. Use ONLY one drop of glue in the middle. Read up first. Not a problem; an opportunity. This is what allows perfect action and no fret buzz upon proper setup. It's all in the balances. Been there, and done that! Mine is great and even stays in tune with a floating trem (also in balance) after new Ernie 9's (Strings) are stretched in (of course). Hard playing can knock out tune slightly; but now mine is staying in tune even hard, with massive bends etc... This includes almost complete automatic (when released) whammy bar reset to in tune; but I do release it back upward (slight up pull) and to the same spot, to get back to perfect tune. No tune is going to stay perfect; but this is the as close as you can get. Hard tail's are just cheeping out (by the makers) and are not the answer. Numerous vids online for howto's.

Plus yes tinkering can get in the way of practice, the real goal; but having to take your guitar in for work creates much less practice.

So get 'er done and practice^3.

Other tone stuff:

You do not need an amp at all nowadays. Save up for the Monoprice 15W all tuber; when it's about $202 SHIPPED, with discounts (Price down and code both).

Add a $39 Cube Baby if you need USB connection and even more (like about all) preamp and speaker Image Responses. Listen: No audience really cares; but you can more closely match you favorite guitar song tones/effects this way. And you have $39 into the digital tech stuff; that gets outdated; in like a day.

Note how the Katana 50 (Mk II) just got an EX update (KTN-502EX), so don't play the game. They added some (costly) accessory pedal compatibility and such; that should have been there in the first place. You'd need a Katana 100 something to sound comparable (fuller) to the best amps, and that's even more overpriced and too heavy (not necessary today) for carry, by far.

So, I'd say you'll be better off with things that you can fix and will last. Not more disposable gear. Not a "practice amp" required. Beside numerous ways to practice, with what you already have or can get from most basements for free (smart phone, old stereo or cheap Karoke box etc..) then you can do everything instead (Practice at low room volume to large venue stage guitarist on same 25lb combo! Then PA out also for you stadium debut.) with ONE COMBO amp, like the $200 MP 15W(like 50W) all tube amp SLICKEST DEAL. Easy to grab and go to jam sessions with friends too. Easily keeping up with a loud drummer; if needed. It does more tones than most tube amps, has tank reverb, mainly a serous 12" Celestion guitar voiced speaker (the main part for iconic tone) and I like the simple controls too; even though I'm a computer techie. Even the Cube Baby on manual is by simple knobs controlled. Tweak and you're done! Instantly and low latency. But I can still connect to any computer or phone for DAW and numerous other music apps (Linuxmint.com OS recommended, and all free) when I'm NOT PRACTICING. LOL. Yet, YOU DO NOT NEED TO USE A COMPUTER OR WAIT! I like instant ON. The MP tube amp takes 2m to ready, per directions. (Standby switches are outmoded with tubes today by improved circuit of the CLASSIC design. Real ECC83 preamp tubes(3) wonders and EL84(2) poweramp. The classic gain sounds, best choice. Marshall hair band type; without the trouble.

Be warned: You need a newer computer and patience to setup (combination) low latency settings, to match what hardware specs you have. Also; use only your Line-in (or by USB) and NOT your computers Mic-in! Mic-in will not be clean on all tones; so skip Mic-IN and it will work.

Note: the Cube Baby also works as your USB interface DI(Direct In). You'll be surprised all the Cube Baby does, and with great SOUND. *Long* lasting USB rechargeable, with no power supply costs. Multi effects. Three button set-able presets for your feet or fingers on top of your amp. Wish is weird; but they have the Cube Baby at one of the lowest prices. Wish is not slick-deals post-able, due to being multi seller. It's up to you to get discounts and check total price, shipping and terms. Should be under $40 TOTAL though; which is amazing. One could just get the Cube Baby to start. Then the MP 15W when available for about $200 new. Bout the only thing comparable is a Marshall DSL 50R starting at $500 USED; and needing amp tech vetting. So you do you. And I am not saying tubes are the only way. They are just what the better DSP is copying. The Cube Baby (digital) sound is very comparable (when matched) and the only difference is some more light to hard playing volume range with the awesome preamp tubes. The Cube Baby does it to; just not as much. The tube are more sensitive; but it's not a big deal. It's a a big difference of sensitivity technically; but guess what. I use both for the best of both worlds. Yet often do just the MP tuber alone; as it's amazing that way. So from clean headroom to ultra gain metal; I use both and it's stellar. And I never have trouble setting it to very low volume for practice, including the 1W input attenuation builtin to the MP. The Cube Baby work fine for everything up front(to my surprise); but I can also do all the time based effects (tape delay), and cab IR's
through the effects loop connections where they are supposed to be better. It can also load IR's form online; but there's little need. It's basically all there already; so why? Nine cabinet IR's and nine amp(clean to gain and with nuances). What can't you match close enough with that? But if not you can load the IR's.

What a mathematician.
Common sense is needed to make sensible deals.

25 off 100 is 25% off and filler amount with a guitar which costs 75 is 25.

75 off 1000 is 7.5% off. That isn't a worthwhile deal with a filler of 925.

Lol, when you count all $25 discounts toward the guitar and ignore the other $25 goods, there is no common sense at all. This deal, at best, is 76.99*0.75=57.74 for the guitar, assuming you find exactly $$23.01 things you really need on their website.

It was sarcasm how your math is nonsense. Following your logic: when there is a 250 off 1000 coupon which is exactly 25%, you get this guitar for $-175 and you pay $925 for the filler. Not saying 25% off is bad, but your math LMAO

Yeah, exactly, why are you counting all $25 discount toward the guitar? Why cannot the other $25 worth of cables etc. get their shares of discount? This at best is effectively 25% off. And if your subtotal is 1 cent over $100, it is worse than 25% off. Your claim of that getting the guitar for $50 is total bs.
