Single or 2 pack direct from Samsung also include adapters, so a better deal.

Same here. Warranty people ran me in circles for about two months but I did not give up and got my replacement. Stay strong!
I'm wondering if I should get this or Sandisk. I had a Sandisk 32GB fail and the warranty replacement was approved almost immediately.

Oh ok. Now I remember. Amazon ones use to be green while Samsung ones were red. So now I'm assuming they're all BLUE right? 👍
Evo select is now blue, evo plus is white.

Anyone know what these samsung micro sd cards are supposed to be labeled as on your PC? I purchased an Evo pro 500 GB from Amazon and tested today after always reading how some are fake. When I used a program called fakeflashtest it seemed to say it wasn't fake, but it was named generic and not some form of Samsung, so now I don't know what to think.

I had thought direct from Samsung was good before also. Then within 6 mos and 3 different phones had a 128gb die along with another 256gb and one to read only.

Anecdotally, I have yet to see a Samsung fail. I've encountered at least 4 failed MicroSD cards. 2 SanDisk, 1 Transcend, and 1 unbranded. The Transcend was the only one that failed gracefully, flipping read-only and leaving all the data readable. Interestingly, both the SanDisks I've seen fail were 32GB, though different models. I never tried to get any replaced, so I can't comment on the warranty service.

As far as I recall, they don't come with a volume label. Samsung has an authentication utility for their cards/drives. I don't have the link but I know it's very hard to find on their site.

I still have my 16MB Dell from 20 years ago. I think I paid about $35 for it. It holds 10 times as much as a standard 3.5" floppy disk. Amazing!

Run it thru Samsung's own check utility, found here at the bottom of the page, titled 'Samsung Memory Card & UFD Authentication Utility'.

I pasted the link to that utility above. It is really hard to find as it's on Samsung's semiconductor site.
