In general, i5 is better than amd because intel has 8 cores, not 6. For such a price (480$), with such a processor, it is cool.
Everything else +- the same.
The only thing that I like about Victus is the sound and build quality.
MSI as a whole will be almost identical.
STAY AWAY FROM HP. I had to do a charge back on them since I never got my order from them. CS rep lied to me consistently as well.
Had great experiences with Lenovo (3 years no issues before upgrading) and MSI going on 7 years strong and still using it today
I was actually about to pick this up as well, looking for a budget gaming laptop but at the 500 price range. What did you end up going with?
Deals dead now but I bought the MSI Katana model off Adora for 600. Definitely more than I wanted to spend but the processor and video card are significantly better.
