This one usually drops to around $7-8. I think it may even be that price right know on at least one or two of the major knife retailer websites.

Won't ship to NY,..lol. what's next ...kitchen knives. Maybe the restaurant's are going to have to cut my steak up for me....

This is the kind of knife that you do not want to carry if you even have a thought about self defense. If you actually wind up having to defend yourself with this, the prosecutor will be all over how it's a "military tactical knife" with "serrations designed to inflict the most maiming damage" as evidence of how you'd been harboring delusions of violence and that you'd been spoiling for a fight.

I have the original version of this knife; got it nearly 25 years ago. the design seems little changed. knife is not a bad one but it has very little bias toward closure (the little "snap" that a good knife has when it is almost fully closed). I do not carry this anymore, after I had a few opportunities to serve on juries; but it serves me well as a quick box opener in the garage.
