$120 at HD. This is $10 diff if you don't live near a DTO store. Plus it takes forever for DTO to ship
$10 more at homedepot for the newest 6ah HP batteries. Same size as a 4ah HP battery.

They look pretty close to me.

The new 6 Ah models which are available now at THD are in fact the same size as the 4 Ah batteries. More juice in a same-size juice box. If your 6 Ah battery is bigger, take that as evidence that your 6 Ah is of the older model.

Maybe because 18650 vs. 21700
I was being sarcastic, the person I was replying to said that the 6ah HP battery was bigger than the 4ah HP battery. They are the exact same size.

Also I have several of the 3Ah and 9Ah HP batteries from Ryobi Days 3 years ago. I am meticulous about how I store and take care of my batteries and they are not holding up well. As far as I know these models haven't been manufactured in some time and are most likely old(er) stock
Just in case you didn't already know..... lithium batteries have shorter lifespans when they are stored full or empty. So they are happiest at around 50% and should be stored long term like that. In actual use, if you are able to, charging them to only 80% then using them from there instead of all the way to full also increases their lifespan or rather reduces degradation. Some rather expensive batteries (some drones) will actually monitor themselves and if you don't use it for two weeks it will trip it's program to reduce charge to bring it to 50% automatically. Hopefully you haven't been topping off your batteries to full then storing it that way. I try to keep my battery packs partially discharged and just charge to full the day before or the day of actual use. Then during use I try to swap to a full pack when the current pack gets to half way discharged.

They are NOT the exact same size, one is 4ah the other is 6ah, or 50% larger. Yes, while I type this I have a smirk on my face during my jerkish attempt to entertain myself.
No one (but yourself) thinks that 4ah and 6ah means the same size(capacity). One thing is capacity and the other is size as in physical dimensions. Ryobi has 2 different models of 6ah HP batteries, the ones op listed and the ones I linked(newer style). The newer style is the same physical size as the 4ah HP battery while having more capacity.

Given so many good deals on ryobi battery, I am wondering if there is an adapter we can use it on other tools, like Ridgid.
I know there are many adapters working on the other way

One way but not the other. Meaning you can adapt most batteries without the protrusion like the ridgid to fit the ryobi. However the other way around ryobi to ridgid, the ryobi protrusion makes it impractical, too long. Also, many battery packs now have two way communication between battery pack and device. Manufacturers, if they haven't already, may program their devices to not function and throw an error if there is no proper handshake (communication) with the battery pack.

Definitely takes forever (sandlot voice) for them to ship.
My last order from them was ordered on July 25 and delivered August 5. The $15 is understandable when you consider just how heavy the stuff they're shipping is. If you can load up on tools the prices are insane. I've gotten all the stuff on my wishlist for well under 1/2 price, even including the shipping.

I've called their phone support and the hold times are short, they've handled things and made it right every time.

The new batteries don't have the rubber feet on bottom anymore.

I have this newer battery last week. Yes for 6ah and the the same size as a old 4ah.

It takes longer to charge. I use it a few times and it last longer than my 4ah.

I love it.

You get what you pay for. With DTO you get good tools at good (mostly and sometimes really good) prices. In return you get slow shipping and lots of customer service errors. If you call to get your order fixed they seem to have 3 customer service staff - the nice one who can and will fix most things for you, the ok one who is....ok, and the mean surly one who is waste of time to talk to. Try enough and you'll be able to get most things resolved fairly. Oh, and you'll probably have to sign up for a call-back when you call - and do it early in the day or you might never get one.
