When they say indoors, do they mean that this unit can only be connected indoors? I have an old orbit that i would love to switch out with this one but it's an outdoor unit… thanks!

I had this in my cart for a long time and just pulled the trigger? I'm going from weeds to hopefully grass and use this just as a standing and utilize the app only as needed. Anything in particular to be concerned about on the app?

The unit must be indoors or protected from rain/snow. But sprinklers are obv outdoors. My Rachio has option for an outdoor box, not sure this has or not.

Irrigation water is pretty cheap. It's reclaimed tho, so it shouldn't be used indoors for kids.

it will work as scheduled when internet is down. You wont be able to access or change program from app with internet down. If power goes out, it will obv not work at all.

I've had this for 3 years. The app is a little clunky, but has some nice features like integrating weather info to suspend watering during rain, etc. I'm happy with it, overall.
