Think the commenter left out "Written By: Gearwrench Tool Truck Driver."

If you notice, the comment states that Amazon "does not offer return on broken tools" and he appears to be stating that Amazon "does not offer return after 1 year." Yes, Amazon does NOT offer returns after 1 year - this is true. Gearwrench has a lifetime warranty, and it applies to this tool as well.

Great price for a handy little tool. Note that this has a very compact little ratchet head which is useful for getting into tight spots, but it can't handle large amounts of torque. The extra long handle length increases access to fasteners lower down in the engine bay or deep under the dash, but if not careful with the amount of force you use on it, the increased leverage of the long handle could result in breakage.

I own this tool. I don't use it very often, but when I need it it is indispensable. Super slim, good for when you need to turn a bolt or screw in a tight spot.

Comments say there is only a 1yr warranty on it as opposed to gearwrench's typical lifetime. No thnx

I see no reason why this should be excluded from their standard lifetime warranty.

Use their warranty a bunch. Tool truck will swap it out for free, but they're local guys so I only really do it to dealers I buy from.

You can go online, send a picture and they'll mail you out another and tell you to dispose of it.

I almost bought this without thinking seeing a Gearwrench deal but realized I bought this in a set from Lowe's for $43.98 earlier this year. It's definitely great though.

I have on a broken 13mm reversing wrench. I had to provide a photo of the broken tool and a copy of my receipt. The down side was I had to buy a replacement tool as it was out of stock and delivery took several months that I didn't want to be without one.

The handle is too long making it easy to over torque or even break small bolts. I can see the long and thin handle become handy in special situations, but I would probably not pick this one for regular use.
