May have been defective - but it was squirrelly as all hell for me. When it worked - it was awesome, but in the end - plugging the phone in had the added benefit of charging... so we're staying with that.
I'm not an audiophile or anything but I don't notice any quality difference between Bluetooth from my phone or streaming over USB connection.
The convenience is worth the price to me.
