WARNING: They do NOT have Wifi calling!

That may not be a problem for you, but it is for me and unfotunatley I only found it out after porting my number over on a 3 month plan ($30 from Best Buy last month, so not as good as this deal!)
I tried boost mobile trial a second time… and idk they lock you into autopay and I couldn't remove the payment card. Then they tried charging way before the trial was up for renewal. I asked customer service through phone because their chat support never works to remove it. They assured me they did but it still showed in my account…

My advice is virtual card to be safe. Also, unless they recently changed it - your plan activates right away after purchase unless your port in.
Would be nice if their plans didn't jump from 5GB at $15 normal price to "unlimited" for $50. Maybe 10GB at $15? Mint wins, I guess. $5 is amazing for the first 3 months, but 5GB is unfortunately too limiting in 2022.

Pretty much have to port from carrier to carrier if you always want the best deal. Have gone from Mint (3 months 10GB/month for $30), to visible ($5 for first month with referral), to something like this. Rinse repeat. Slightly annoying, but save a decent enough amount of money doing so.

Did you activate the sim cards with the same phone? Can't they figure out if you may not be the new customer?

I bought the $1 30 day trial from the previous thread and couldn't get it to work with my unlocked iPhone. I tried unsuccessfully linking it to my phone online, called, and still couldn't get it to go through. Probably should've done a chargeback with my credit card but it's $1....

Thanks OP! Been looking for Boost or AT&T MVNO deal since switching from Red Pocket due to the 3G shutdown and VOLTE changes

Just to share my experience, I have been with Red Pocket for years and have a locked AT&T branded LG G8 that is on the white list and should have worked after the 3G shutdown, but voice calls doesn't work with Red Pocket since the shutdown in Feb 2022. You have to do the janky change the APN settings for voice and change it again if you want to use data.

I didn't bother going through with Red Pocket's customer service and their waiting time went to hours and queue for chat up the wazoo since the 3G shutdown with people calling in for help. Search the reddit forums, Red Pocket is not what it used to be.

So out of desperation, I tried the Boost network and the phone works right away as it should, both for voice and data, no APN setting changes needed.

For those in Red Pocket, Boost may work for you too if you ran into the 3G shutdown and not able to make voice call issues.

I like boost mobile due to unlimited minutes on the lower cost plans but it's confusing. Can you buy separate a phone and plan on boost mobile website? It seems like they won't allow that.

I had this issue too. They said they gave me the wrong kind of sim supposedly… the another rep said I didn't have an account with them I sent screenshots of my dashboard to them. Still denied I had an account. They wouldn't send me a new sim or extend the trial time. They yelled at me to do a chargeback… yeah weird

Stay away from this horrible company.
Seems like they have so many issues, and their CS have no clues on how to help or don't want to help.
I still have 2 pending charges after 2 days for an order that had error out and didn't go through (the iPhone SE deal).
They told me to send them a PM. Been messaging them to no avail. Still no updates from their end.

I just signed up for this promo and was able to remove it right after i created my acc. You go to acc settings and you can turn off auto pay and remove your card.
