- EDIT:
User penpex pointed out there was sale on Amazon "Lightning Sale" for 14TB WD Elements for $199.99 early in the morning of 08 Feb 2022. Additionally, using an Amazon credit card produces points on the account, effectively reducing the cost further. Thanks for that correction, penpex.
However, looking at the comments, the units sold rapidly. 100% were claimed within about an hour, evidencing how valuable some people people consider these external drives to be at such a price. It would have been a difficult sale to take advantage of, but the point stands that these externals are still out there for about $200 or a bit less in 2022.
I still think +$10 (+5% over Amazon's sale) for the same unit is a reasonable deal if one needs the drive immediately (Limit 2). Then again, it's from Newegg, which can be problematic for some folks.

What' their return policy? It's gotta be less convenient than Amazon's...(EDIT: seems like you can send it back within 30 days, so they don't have their restocking fees anymore, interesting. It seems like if you open the box and test it it should still be ok....).
Does anybody know if you ask for the RMA within 30 days, if you still have to send it back within the 30 days, or if it gives you like N extra days to do so? What would be the value of N then?
by that same argument gas was $3... not that long ago too

The Hassle Free Returns policy looks recent (~Sept 2021). It's worth noting the issue that GN had was related to open box product; which is a different focus area of the site.
I've personally stepped back from purchasing from Newegg altogether, but that's more related to the fact I wasn't happy with how they displayed whether something is sold by them or a third party.
That all being said, this is a great price point and if others are willing to purchase from Newegg, go for it.
