I'll take the risk! It's a great deal if it's new (I think that even if it's open box). I have purchase in the past from VIP Outlet and has been satisfied.

Looks like the 12.9" version is available from same seller in same condition (refurbished) for $197.

Looking at the product page the return policy for this product/seller states:

That's good enough for me to bite with a plan to return if there is any issue with the product or condition.

VIPOUTLET has a contract with Walmart to sell its returns. They were a big seller on eBay unloading Walmart returns for a while, but it seems like they pulled back probably bc of the outrageous eBay fees.
