Bosch makes nice stuff in their 12V line but in terms of number of tools available Milwaukee beats Bosch easily:
Bosch = 18x 12V tools
Milwaukee = +95x 12V tools
If you're thinking of adopting a 12V tool line you're best bang for the buck in terms of utility and cost is Milwaukee by a country mile vs. Bosch.

Yes, brushless is better. If you don't know, you probably don't need it. I also have the $99 brushed motor kit and it's more than I need for home use and occasional small projects.
Maybe dewalt DCF850 the atomic one can compete with the metabo hpt triple hammer, as far as convenience and light weight.
Milwaukee offers more tools and I somewhat regret not getting into that ecosystem, but if you're not looking for a ton of different tools, this is a great quality set.
Fwiw, the 12v Bosch lights, dremel, oscillating saw, and right angle drill are also all excellent tools.
