What's this mean about the remixed audio? I thought a 4k version was already released. Was it messed up somehow and this release fixes it?

I had to email them multiple times after putting in a replacement request until they finally sent one. I had originally put in my request the day my pre-order showed up and I found out about how badly they screwed up the original release (so, probably around the end of December 2020), but it wasn't until the middle of May when they finally responded to one of a few replacement disc inquiry emails. It seemed like a lot of people had that issue where if you only submitted a replacement request, you were probably not going to get it unless you kept emailing them about it.

Funimation initially released Akira with no HDR for the video. Early orders had to beg Funimation for a replacement copy.

Presumably this standard release will have the corrected discs without jumping through hoops.
