Not even close. The beats have ear tips so better isolation and much better bass. Stays in ears much better but ymmv. I have friends that swear up and down that they do not have a problem with AirPod 2s falling out. Personally I can't wear AirPod 2s if doing anything beyond walking. The beats on the other hand are fine even while running over 5 miles. And that bass is kickin. One con though is that for reason the syncing process is hit or miss vs my AirPod 2s that hook up seamlessly each time I take em out of the case.

I'm in the market for good ear buds... my cheap chinese buds are starting to fade away after 2-3 years of abuse.. Are these a better compared to the Samsung buds live or pro2 ? I hate to spend too much on the ear buds which can be lost or non-functional pretty quickly... this looks like a good deal for 80$ (with coupon and prime 10%)...

Bought these when they first came out in June at Costco for $159 and have been happy with them. Base is much better than the AirPods they replaced.

How are they with connecting to different devices? I know you don't have that chip that works well in the apple ecosystem but can I just go into Bluetooth settings and choose the studio buds to use on one device while them being connected to another or do I have to physically disconnect from one to connect to another?

I know I am splitting hairs here, but the $10 coupon comes as a credit to your Amazon account after these ship. It's not money off the top. So while you are getting money back you are forced to spend it at Amazon. Not uncommon practice, I know, so please save the snarky comments for someone asking if Beats are good or not.

Just picked up the Beat Fit Pros for $199. Curious how people feel the value compares to these at half the price. Mostly went with the Pros because of the wing for fit and the H1 chip.
