Just a note about this item.

I own this, and even though the walmart listing may imply that it has heat, it definitely does not. It calls it 'heat maintenance', but it loses heat pretty fast, and there isn't any active heating.

I hope you never go in a pool, or ever own a fish tank. All this does is run water through a pump. There's no heating coil or anything like that. Life's too short to live in fear instead of learning how things work. Submersible pumps have been around forever and are cheap to make.

The bad reviews: noisy, leaks, doesn't maintain heat, bubbles worthless. Maybe a good bucket would be better? And why does it have CA prop 65 warning? What kind of plastics is it made of?

I see those warning on most sun/glasses and lightbulbs too. I believe it's a worthwhile cause but it's overused to the point I become desensitized to it. Not unlike amber alerts. Once you wake me up at 2am for something that happened hundreds of miles away I turn off the alarm.

I have this item and can confirm it does not have heat function. Overall, it's a pretty great product. I got it from Walmart some 5 years ago for about $30 (if I remember correctly). For $16, it's an awesome deal.
