Yes, mine started doing it after 2-3 months. I contacted support and they had me go to some site and click 100 times to test for double clicks, and while I could see the counter doing multiple clicks randomly per single click it wasn't incrementing the counter so I don't buy that the site is legit at checking for that. Thus because of that I really had no more recoure, I considered buying another from Amazon and swapping the serials and refunding it, but I shouldn't HAVE to do anything shady/illegal like that! I've just been living with it.

I used to buy Logitech mouses until my 502 got the double click issue. Got mad when Logitech CSR gave me the run around for a month and I eventually took a lower end 603 with less features.

Not buying their mouses anymore until they decide to quit cheaping out with poor quality switches.

I have to say mine also started doing that. I did purchase a protection plan at Best Buy (which I never, ever do) just for this mouse when I purchased it. Now debating on purchase another, but fear the same issue may pop up. I'm guessing Logitech told you that due to the website not showing over 100 clicks that it wasn't an issue? we all know it happens when you least expect it...that's BS. I have G900 and G903, G PRO, G PRO X Superlight... haven't had issues with any of those (yet)

Got the wired g502 hero in November 2020. Haven't had the double click issue. I don't know if that's specific to the wireless model, but I'm happy with mine. It was on sale at Best buy for $35.

I was afraid of latency for the wireless one, since I already have a bit of latency from dialing in remotely.

Using the legacy software because the ghub is buggy.

It will start soon enough.. just depends how much you click. Play lots of fps and rpgs that require lots of clicks and it will appear much sooner.

The wired version is easily the best mouse I've ever owned, feels so well constructed and responsive.

My all time favorite mouse plagued by poor software and double clicking issues. If there was any decent replacement for this mouse I'd probably jump on that immediately. I love the scroll wheel and the side buttons and all the extra buttons available on this mouse too and nowadays most people just buy simple ones with at most the two side buttons for the same price. Thinking about buying this one just to have a backup when the double clicking on my current one ends up being too much.

this thing is compatible with the $120 wireless charging powerplay pad but I much prefer a whole-desk mouse pad. That wireless pad is not Qi compatible and comes with a proprietary antenna puck that replaces the weight holder on the bottom of the mouse.

There are off-brand charging stands for like $30 on Amazon that use the same puck replacement technique to hardwire into a USB magnetic stand, similar to the razer naga and viper if you prefer that kind of setup.
