What's sad is the "family size" is still smaller than what the regular sized package used to be in the '80s & '90s. Now you gotta buy the "party size" for that. We get less but have to pay more.

Kroger has been running a lot of oreo deals currently. While 2.50 is a good price, I recently got the family size at my local store for 1.99

tldr. Also watch your local sales.

Second time I've seen this price on the front page, and I'm just sitting here wondering how the equivalent of a normal sale that happens frequently at many grocery stores is front page worthy. Agreed, on a good sale you can get these cheaper locally, and I bet if I looked at all the ads for my local stores I could find at this price most weeks of the month.
