If you've got a Harbor Freight nearby you can pick one up that has settings for 2, 10, or 50 amp for $30 through 2/11.

Just a warning, Noco seems to have pretty hit or miss reliability. They have overall pretty good ratings but I bought one even after reading a lot of bad reviews with a pretty consistent issue. Yep, I got one of the bad ones. Returned and paid more for Battery Tender Jr and it works great. I didn't replace the Noco with another one as I didn't want to risk it frying my battery and possibly starting a fire.

Noco has a lot of reviews and seems to be on sale a lot. I had a battery tender jr before with great results. I need another so I'm wondering if I should go Noco or buy a higher model battery tender (that allows me to charge slowly)

That isn't a maintainer / trickle charger. It's a normal charger.

Words are hard to read sometimes...

This portable automotive battery charger has three modes, making it easy to charge, maintain or jump start 12 volt batteries. This 12v automotive battery charger has built-in safety features such as reverse polarity alert, thermal protection shutoff and a self-resetting circuit breaker. Copper plated clamps offer superior conductivity.
  • Portable unit offers 2-10A charging rates plus a 50A engine start for emergency starting
  • 6 ft. battery leads with copper plated clamps for superior conductivity
  • Warning lamps for reverse polarity and charge complete
  • Self-resetting circuit breaker
  • Switches to trickle mode when battery is completely charged
  • Thermal protection shutoff
  • Auto shutoff

Auto-shutoff normally means it shuts off when charged, so I don't trust the description.

I bought this, and it brought back my ride on battery, not full capacity like a new one tho, but a new battery only costs 15 bucks. Should I just get a new battery instead?

I have a GB40 and it had never worked to actually jump a car. Tried last month on my MDX and last week on my daughter's Impreza and no luck. Used my subs 4Runner and got them both started within seconds of connecting. The Noco is a nice unit but useless if it doesn't with when needed. I take need something better and don't mind the money as it is priceless at that moment.

Is the noco better than something like the Stanley BC25BS?

I have the 2 and the 10. The 10 saved a battery that sat in my boat for 8 months still connected. The battery tender just said defective.
