Experience greater power, range, and speed. With an internal and external lithium ion battery, ES4-800 has a top speed of nearly 15.5 mph and a range of up to 28 miles. The bar for high-performance e-scooters has been raised.

With #3 you get full access to the app and features after you change the serial to a "T". The only thing I wasn't able to flash is the BMS. I tried updating the BMS with the Xiaoflasher and it still did not work.
Thanks ...

To recap my efforts thus far.

Had a dashboard without BT functionality, w/ resistor in c15 + green board.

Purchased the below dash.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

Updated to 1.62 via the segway ninebot iOS app (now able to connect via BT)

Followed these instructions to update SN from N2GRDXXXXX to N2GTDXXXXX. Used windows10 pc + IAP ninebot exe.
https://joeybabcock.me/blog/tutor...nebot-esx/

Still unable to update the BMS beyond 1.3x.

I now have
- lighting effects
- 22 mph limit
- use of app
- double click power button toggles speed modes
- single click power button toggles headlight
- control of 3 speed modes, + speed limit.

Yep, looks like everything is functional besides the ability to update BMS with an aftermarket dash. My OEM one comes tomorrow and if BMS update works with it, I'll let y'all know.

I believe you can flash that green board of yours if you wanted to.

For people with more experience:

What is BMS? Is it Battery Management System (totally guessing here)? If no, I can't seem to find it listed in the official app (still looking for it on Nine Dash and M365 App). If yes, can we do anything about the firmware versions of batteries? I'm not sure if we can even upgrade them or it's just a signifier of production date (mine are old, both batteries are version 1.3.6).

Perhaps it would be help to have the acronyms in the wiki? For instance, I know that BLE is Bluetooth Low Energy.

Thanks in advance!

Yes it is, anyone can edit the wiki with helpful information. No one knows as of now if you can update it.

Couple interesting things about this.

1. You seem to have bought the same dash as jackedandshredded yet he's still limited to 16 mph vs your 22 mph (you're sure it's not km/h right?).
2. Your max firmware version is 1.62 even on iOS so I wonder how someone got 2.0.1. Maybe a slow rollout.

You also need to flash with ST-Link. Not just remove the capacitor.

I received mine over the weekend, but wasn't able to open it up and inspect it until my daughter was out of the house today. The box, packing and wrapped pieces were all in perfect / new condition, as is the scooter. It only has 0.3km on it with not a scratch to be found. I was a little worried when I powered it on and it was displaying an E19 message, but it turns out that the battery was almost completely depleted, and it wouldn't allow me to give it a test ride. After I plugged it in I was able to connect to bluetooth using the app on my iPhone and I'm happy for that as well. Like others have said, I only wish that I had purchased another one!

Thanks to everyone for this long / useful thread as I've learned a lot and may end up swapping in an aftermarket dash down the road so that we get full functionality.

For IOS, I was able to connect with DarknessBot. It uses AI to dynamically track your range until empty. it also allowed me to turn on and off the undercarriage lights (but not change the colors).

I could also switch the speedo between miles and km but it seems like it might be inverted. It also has alarms you can set when you reach a certain speed, amperage, power and temp. You can have the alarms vibrate, sound, voice or even all 3.

You can also use it record video of your trips. Or have it integrate with siri to check things such as remaining mileage, battery level, etc. Siri will announce the info. It is a pretty cool app though not all features work with my Bird.

I just flashed my dashboard. I should of waited until the scooter comes to make sure it's actually working but too excited.
