Does anyone know the wattage? Trying to figure out if this is a good camp appliance.

Make sure you check the size, it's small at most 6-7 inches in diameter. Good for single user. Amazon review is mediocre.

600w heating element is similar/equal to 0.6l kettles. I guess when camping, I can stick to cup ramen or cup rice stuff as sides/snacks.

Not sure if the ceramic coating is worth $10 more than the 7" non-stick personal griddle that I recently purchased.

I'd say, yes.

Tetrafluoroethylene nonstick coatings like PTFE (Teflon), ETFE, and PFA will all flake off and mix with your food over time. PTFE's have been classified by the government as a cancer causing compound (carcinogen), and research is underway on the others (also likely to be classified as carcinogens, too). They're just not that durable or all that great. Ceramics last longer and I don't think they cause cancer.

Thank you for the response. The one I have is sort of a metal with no coating. Easy to clean by just soaking it in soap/water overnight. I'm hunting for an everyday pot/pan, and I'll look for one that is ceramic now.

Looks like the inner pot is non-removeable so be careful washing it.
