Best 16" 5090 deal out there. If you remove oled, it's even less.

I would drop the ssd to 512gb and get the ram upgrade to 64gb

the non OLED options are also badone is pathetic 1200p low resolution :-(other is 60 Hz :-(:-((
dude, 1200p on a 16" screen is still more PPI than a 27" 4k screen. 4k at 16" is a pointless resource hog IMO unless you need the full unscaled resolution for work related stuff

yes more resolution is needed for more real estate (seeing more things, having more workspace )

I truly envy people who can actually see things that small. With glasses my vision is good, but I still maintain I cannot see much of a difference between 60hz and 120hz, let alone 120 to 165+.

Also you can use window's powertoys to add multi workspace functionality.

I wouldnt do that unless u plan to keep the 512gb boot drive. The laptop requires you to open the whole heatsink in order to change to the boot drive.

This is one of the dumbest deal ever seen. At $3300+ after tax , 4tb nvme or 8tb ssd makes more sense.
Care to link to ANY deal with similar specs, a 5090, and an 8TB SSD?

This is actually a really solid deal. The 5080 version with an i7 and 32GB of RAM comes out to 2k... with an OLED panel too.

As a psa. The laptop 5090 is somewhat like the desktop 5080. But with a tighter max power... because laptops cannot dissipate heat. This can play games, but will never compare to a desktop.
Unless you need need the mobility. I would avoid pricey portables.

5080 Lenovo legion and a desktop makes more sense than a 5090 laptop
