I'm not 100% sure, but I think this is the RTINGS review of it?
https://www.rtings.com/monitor/re...g8-s32bg85

If it is, for office they gave it an 8.7/10 saying...
"The Samsung Neo G8 is excellent for office use. The 4k resolution results in sharp text, and the 32-inch screen is big enough to open multiple windows at once. It also has remarkable reflection handling, and it gets bright enough to fight glare in most rooms, so visibility isn't a problem. It has impressive ergonomics if you want to adjust the screen to your liking, but it has narrow viewing angles and a limited swivel range, so it isn't the best for sharing your screen with someone else."

For text clarity, they gave it a 9/10 (again, if it's the same model)...
"The text clarity is fantastic. The high 4k resolution makes the text look sharp, and Windows ClearType (top photo) helps improve the text clarity even more. Although it shares the same 32-inch size and 4k resolution as the Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 S32BG75, it has a different screen coating that introduces haziness, which makes text look a bit less sharp on the Neo G8. That said, it's only noticeable if you place both monitors side by side and you really look for it."

I've read that the neo g7 is pretty much as good if you're not doing high end gaming, and it's 450 now (but has recently dipped to 400).
I've also been looking at inexpensive 32" 4k, and the Dell S3225QS just dropped to 305. But it's not in the same league as the Samsungs - from what I've read it has typical VA drawbacks: ghosting, viewing angle (because it's flat), whereas the Samsungs are curved and handle action better.

too bad it's curve. I'm waiting for good deal on non-curve monitors.

This Samsung monitor is way better than the Dell 4k 32" curved one. Been eyeing this for awhile and usually never broke below $600... I want to buy 2 but can't. The second one goes back to $750.

Have you bought other samsung monitors this year? I think EPP/EDU limits you to two of a category per year or something like that. I may be wrong though. When I add two to cart they stay at $500 each.

It's a decent monitor, but this is definitely not the lowest price on it I've seen. I think it's been 450 bucks at some point in time fairly recently. I have the G7 version and it's great.

I bought the G7 which is almost like this one. I use it for 10% gaming and 90% coding and excel etc. It's excellent. The fonts are sharp and the contrasts are good. Also the monitor is not running hot if you care about that. Basically, if you have to work and game, this is good enough. Gaming is also quite good, even better than for productivity.

Have you tried using a curved monitor? I was hesitant at first too but after using one for months, I hardly notice the curve.

I have this monitor and its great for me work (email, excel, word) and play. Be aware there are scan lines and other folks also get them. After having this for 2 years, I do miss my ultrawide.

I'm reading the reviews, there seem to be multiples issue with this product. Is there a fix for it by now?

I've owned this monitor for about 1.5 years now. It's a good monitor with vibrant colors and contrast that come close to OLEDs. Being my first curved monitor, I was concerned that I wouldn't like it, but it actually feels more natural. Doing productivity work isn't bad either, and the text is clear.

The only real downside for me has been the scanline issues that many people have been experiencing. It's especially noticeable with yellow and orange colors. Updating the monitor's firmware makes the scanlines less noticeable, but they are still there.

Overall, this is a solid monitor, but not without its flaws. For $500, it's a decent deal, but since this monitor had deals for about the same price a couple of years ago and has been out for a few years now, a great deal would be around $400-$450.

I am using it for coding, design, etc for over a year now! I am very satisfied, this side of OLED!
