For the health of the batteries, you want a charger with individual charging channels, i.e. one that can charge one battery at a time. These cheap Energizer and Duracell chargers only do 2 or 4 at a time (which means one will always be overcharged or undercharged).

There's an Eneloop charger with 4x Eneloop AAs for $18 (worth the $3 extra just for the Eneloop batteries instead of Energizers):

Costco is selling 16 AA 2300 mAH batteries for $19.99. Much better deal but if you already have a NiMH battery charger

Just got the Costco deal so was looking for a charger. Bought the basic one yesterday, but for $3 more for a better charger and 4 extra battery gonna bite on this. Thanks OP

If you read down in the description, it says it charges 1300mah to 2500mah (included), making it seem as these are 2500mah.
