If this was in a big case it would make an amazing cheap gaming PC.

It's a very good deal for a very capable PC for home office and photoshop or video tasks. Or for a Plex server 🏴 ☠

You could slip a small form factor gpu in there.

I feel the 250w PSU would be maxed out by the CPU alone. You would want to upgrade the PSU or transfer the entire system to a new case with PSU but not sure if the power connections are proprietary like on Dell

This seems pretty steep for an old CPU and a system that can't play games. You'd match it with an Ryzen 9600X build that has a decent PSU and full size case for the same or less.

You and I use "amazing cheap" differently, especially when the can't play games without putting in a bad GPU or also buying a new power supply (which wouldn't fit).If you want a $500 gaming machine, buy an RTX 4050 laptop, or build the desktop yourself. (Maybe a -G Ryzen).

Seems like an ok deal if you need the multi-thread power of a 14700 but don't need a lot of RAM, don't need/want a GPU, and don't like the idea of building your own.
For anything else:
The form factor seems awkward, too narrow to add a GPU and too big to hide it away as a SFF. Even if you manage to squeeze a GPU in with a riser cable, the 14700(turbo) can use up to 219W of that 260W power supply.
At this price I would personally build a i5-14600k/36gb system for productivity or a homeserver, and if adding a GPU for gaming then a Ryzen 5 9600X/32gb build for the upgradability of AM5.
For day to day use a base M4 Mac Mini and external drive seems like a better buy, since they go on sale for $450. If you aren't tied to Windows that is.

Based on replacement part videos, this does not have a PCI-E Slot, just 2 M.2 slots (one populated by Wifi, one with SSD). Replacement videos provided by Lenovo: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/...8irr9-90xs
Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'd love to throw a LP GPU in here.
