Surprised this isn't getting more attention as it's basically the same price that people were buying the externals for and you're getting a barracuda drive either way.

Some people will argue the enclosure is worth something, while this saves you the hassle of having to deal with shucking.

I just think that people are still concerned about the low power on hours this is rated for.
I know that's why I'm a bit worried, even more than the only 2 year warranty.
I would rather grab a used deal on an Enterprise drive for a 20+ GB for equivalent price and 5 y warranty. Unfortunately, we haven't seen many this year.
I think I'm going to pass for a few more months, I'm sure this deal will be back around BF.

After so many seagate failure for myself and at work over the last decade, I've become blind to any deals associated with their brand. They could be giving this shit away for free and I wouldn't care.

Yeah I don't love paying more for WD but I've literally never had one of their drives fail

Have had ten Seagate Barracudas all on 24/7 lasting more than five years for my Unraid server. Seagate has gotten just as good as WD and WD has sadly fallen off due to selling out to get more pennies on the dollar. People will be fine with Seagate.
