its worth about $250 - 300, youd have to slap in a 9060 XT at $400 for it to do anything. It wont play battlefield 6 with that CPU, but anything 2024 and older youd get 90 FPS ultra 1440p
It depends on your use case. If it's for a kid or whimsical adult and fits your budget it's a decent system with the fun features like a glass side panel and RGB that you can't get on a pure budget build.
There are also some budget friendly upgrades you can keep an eye out for specifically a GPU, more RAM, more and storage which is not always possible with the bang for your buck used hp and dell desktops, but after those you will hit diminishing returns.
If you want a system that is substantially better including a gpu with a long-term upgrade path and fun aesthetics it will be 2-3 times the price.
Price must have dropped because I am showing $287 in the cart after coupons.

Deals dead.
Crap, I would have jumped on this deal at this price. The CPU is slower than what I would normally want, but still faster than what I have now and could be a potential future upgrade.

For the price, I'd say it's solid. But $288 is very cheap for a PC. You will need to add a GPU to play any games other than maybe Runescape. Grab a used 1080 or 2080 for $100-200 and you'll have something that plays Fortnite level games very well, and most newer games on low/mid settings.
If you bought all of the components used on eBay/FB, you'd be looking at around $100 for CPU, $80 for motherboard, $50 for a case, $60 for the PSU, $35 for the SSD, $20 for the cooler.
To be able to get that all new and pre-assembled for $290 without having to hunt for deals and mess around with flaky sellers, it's a good entry point.

Would the cpu bottleneck a 5070 super 18gb if I buy it in the future?
