I've been playing Martin Acoustic Guitar strings for over half a CENTURY and I saw this new "Lifespan" line.

I was like, "Cool. Maybe they will last longer before going flat."

Nah, not really. Not that I could really notice.

Oh, heck yeah! The Martin is going sing this weekend with some slick mediums. This is the set of strings I normally buy and I for one notice a significant improvement in longevity.
If you have a dreadnought, these are worth trying at this price. A full-size guitar can handle a beefier string than most people realize and after getting used to it, it's almost as easy to play in terms of dexterity but it can be a whole lot faster using a pic.
