the deal listed you either keep everything or return receiving. when you look up the belt sander separately you will see where you can add the deal which is the 2 batteries and charger. this is where you can keep one or the other to get the reduced price
If you want to get the 'hackable' deal, follow the link and change the "Attachment options" to "No additional attachment". I will then show the belt sander as the free item and you can select the batteries as the main item (at the top right of the listing). When done that way, the hackable deal will be $299. The OP (non-hackable) deal is also back to $299 since the $279 price was a daily deal yesterday.
