Reviews on Bestbuy and target are almost all from paid giveaways, very few legitimate reviews of the unit. Reviews on amazon as well as others state the unit works, but is limited in use compared to other products on the market, Probably best to spend your money more wisely and get something that is more modern and is not limited in features.
I have a couple of these from when Lowe's cleared them out. No issues. They look nice, are easy to use, and you can control them remotely through the app.
I don't know what features are lacking. It doesn't have any AI garbage that will inevitably set an uncomfortable temp. I haven't tried the smart home integration and can't comment on that.
Nice price, but kinda ugly. 2.4GHz wifi only (no 5GHz support.)
No geofencing (and no IFTTT support, so no workaround to a lack of geofencing) and doesn't support Apple HomeKit. Bummer! Those two things and wifi/bluetooth are about all I want out of a smart thermostat. I've still got a pretty basic one (not like "house built in the 70's" basic, but "LCD screen and up and down buttons and that's it" basic) and want to upgrade, but don't want anything made by Amazon or Google. Options are limited, especially at this price point.

That review might be old. The Cync app shows HomeKit & Siri under voice integration. I can't confirm it works since I don't use.
