It is a spray on grit similar to some Selkirk or Friday originals. Good enough for $10 and probably better than most cheap sets.

decent for beginners, but if you want something intermediate the recently released Ronbus Quanta for $99 is getting some great reviews so far. (I know it's 10x the price of this, but in PB you grew quickly yearning for an upgraded paddle).

This was an educational thread. Looking at the reviews, this paddle can be used for advanced players as well. Look at the way similar carbon fiber paddles get sold at exhorbitant prices! And there are promoters walking in various online forums offering a slight discount for the high-end paddles! This company deserves recognition for being honest.

Hard to trust reviews for paddles these days. They all seem to get commission or some sort of incentive

Huge fan of this brand. An older version of this paddle was my first ever. I then bought Vatic Pro Prism Flash and Joola Ben Jons Hyperion, but every now and then I go back to using Vingsuir.

The company Ronbus is coming out with a foam paddle next week called the Quanta for $100. Easily rivals the $300 paddles. Goes to show that these companies are making massive margins off paddles that all cost $20 in these factories in China. I've got no reason to bother with those expensive paddles with this new paddle coming out.
